I am a fully qualified gold standard Velotech mechanic with years of experience working on bikes. From the first point of contact to the handover, we are here for every aspect including advice and information post-sale, with a free health check service 12 weeks after handover on any custom builds.
Custom Builds
First and foremost, we offer the Osprey Luminare, our own stunning in-house frame. With sizes from 42 to 58 and a full range of set colour ways or unique paint to your specification, your bike will be custom built all the way down to your choice of groupset, including Shimano, Sram and Campagnolo. All builds are available in electronic or mechanical shifting. We can also supply any frame of your choice, depending on the availability of the selected frame and colour from the manufacturer. At Osprey Cycles we want to work as hard as we can to make Your Bike, Your Way.
Services
As well as our full bronze, silver, and gold bike services, we also offer various single repairs on things such as broken spokes, wheel trueing, single cable replacement (inner/outer), gear indexing and more…

Gold Service
Price £160
- Bike will be cleaned & degreased to allow service to be carried out
- Frame checked for corrosion & correct alignment including gear hanger, drop outs & re-aligned if needed
- All drive-train components will be removed from the frame for service/replacement
- All bearings checked & adjusted. Wheels retensioned & trued if necessary
- Wheels checked for wear, alignment & damage. If the rim is worn beyond repair, we will advise you to have the rim replaced & wheels rebuilt, or a new wheel purchased
- Ensure all adjuster screws are not seized and grease as necessary
- Frame fully reassembled using correct torque settings where applicable
- New brake blocks/pads as necessary
- All cables (inner & outer) replaced. All bolts & fixings checked for correct torque
- Gear & brakes set for optimum performance
- Tyres & tubes checked & inflated to correct pressure
- Headset bearings checked and advised on condition
- Includes a resin polish & ceramic coat to the frame when it's stripped down before reassembly
- Bike road tested & signed off by mechanic as being roadworthy
- Any replacement parts will incur additional costs ,the customer will be informed before any work commences
Silver Service
Price £100
- Bike will be cleaned & degreased to allow service to be carried out
- Frame checked for corrosion & correct alignment including gear hanger, drop outs & re-aligned
- All drive-train components will be thoroughly cleaned degreased and relubricated
- All bearings checked & adjusted. Wheels retensioned & trued if necessary
- Wheels checked for wear, alignment & damage. If rim is worn beyond repair, we will advise you to have the rim replaced & wheels rebuilt, or a new wheel purchased
- Ensure all adjuster screws are not seized & grease as necessary
- All components reassembled on to frame using correct torque settings where applicable
- Frame fully reassembled using correct torque settings where applicable
- New brake blocks/pads as necessary
- All bolts & fixings checked for correct torque
- Gear & brakes set for optimum performance
- Tyres & tubes checked & inflated to correct pressure
- Bike road tested & signed off by mechanic as being roadworthy
- Any replacement parts will incur additional costs ,customer will be advised of costs prior to replacement
Bronze Service
Price £80
- Bike will be cleaned & degreased to allow service to be carried out.
- Cables cleaned & lubricated.
- All bolts & fixings checked for correct torque.
- Tyres & tubes checked & inflated to correct pressure
- Spokes checked for correct tension & wheels retrued.
- Gears & brakes set for optimum function & efficiency.
- Bike road tested & signed off by mechanic as being roadworthy.
Wheels Service
Price £50 Labour
With the transition to Disc brakes, wheel bearings are now an integral part of maintaining your bike. We service all types of wheels including cup & cone & seal cartridge.
Wheel services include:
- Strip out axels to access bearings.
- Check bearings for condition & smooth running.
- Replace any worn or corroded parts, if necessary.
- Check wheels for radial and lateral truness, adjust as necessary.
Any new parts required will incur additional costs.
We carry a small range of spare parts and additionally can order in various others if required, with a wait time of up to 48 hours. Please contact us for information on the stock we carry. If we can help, we will.
Bosch e-bike Service Centre
Osprey Cycles is a registered certified Bosch e-bike service centre. Whatever make or model of bike you have we can provide Servicing, Software Updates, Diagnostics Reports, Spare Parts and Warranty Claims on any Bosch Driven Bikes.
